TARATAHI CARTERTON RACES. CUP WON BY BUNTING. BY TELEGEAPH— PEE PEESS ASSOCIATION. CARTERTON, December 27. There was a large attendance ab the Annual Meeting of the Taratahi-Carter-ton Racing Club. Light rain fell throughout the day. The totalisator receipts were £9,490, being £567 more than last year. Results: — TRIAL PLATE, five furlongs.— Nenno 1, Merrie Poto 2, Privation 3. Scr— Chatto, Thoughtful, Master Boris, Maymorn, Miss Pau, Fran Bonnett, Marengal, Martial Air and Westella. . Won by a neck. Time 1.4 1-5. ; BELEVEDERE HACK HANDICAP, six furlongs. — King of Athol (8.3) 1, Wailand (7.13) 2, Trials (8.3) 3. Also started — Ormesby, Orianda, and Fran Bonnet. Won easily. Time 1.16£. MAUNGARAKI HANDICAP TROT, 1£ miles. —^Red Mom (16secs) 1, Monsoon (2secs) 2, Manscenita (lsec.) 3. Scr.— Wildstep."
