CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. At a meefing of the Citizens' Defence Corps, a member said there was. no disguising the fact that the example of some leading citizens in encoui'aging young men to take part in sport eveiy Saturday was retarding recruiting. It was natural for young men to enjoy themselves and while older people encouraged them they could not be blamed. They should face the music. The. meeting decided to arrange a conference of employers with the Defence Minister in order to discuss the matter. .
