NELSON JOCKEY CLUB
NOMINATIONS CLOSE TONIGHT
Nominations for all events in connection with the Nelson Jockey Club's anual race meeting close this Monday evening at 9 p.m. at the secretary's office, Mercer's Rooms, Nelson. The programme is the finest yet issued by the Club and the Nelson Cup, oile mile, is endowed with 300 soys., vwhile each open event' carries over 100 soys. There are two trotting events each, day of 90 soys. Altogether* stakes amounting to £1,500 will be dispersed, and this alone should be the means of bringing a record response from owners.
