DISMISSED WITHOUT NOTICE
EMPLOYER FINED. Received 8.20 p.m. MELBOURNE, Oct. 10. At the Industrial Court aii employer was charged with dismissing German workmen without the requisite notice. ' \ He admitted that he had dismissed them because they were not naturalised. - ' The other employees objected to working alongside them. Counsel for. the defence pleaded;justification bcause- the men were alien enemies. Defendant was ordered to pay one shilling in each case. . .
