DRASTIC RECJULATIONS. SYDNEY, This Day. On tlie recommendation of the Necessary Commodities Commission, the tollowing prices have been fixed, operating from to-day : Wheat 4s 6d, flour £9 17s 6d t bran and pollard JB6 ss, in the counties of Cumberland and Northumberland, while for the rest of the State wheat is 4s 2d. Flour is 17s 6d and bran and pollard 5s in advance of the prices prevailing on August Ist. The price of bread throughout the State is fixed at the rate which prevailed on August Ist. The price of gas in the metropolitan area has been raised from 3s 6d to 3s lOd. The recommendations are confined to old wheat and do not affect the new crop. j
