Thomas Carter by the Gov^ eminent to effect that the Wither run is required for -the purposes of settlement. The estate comprises 7,040 nrres of which 600 acres are flat land. The frontage of 300 acres is all good land, and tne balance is about 156 acres in 'Maxwell Pass, is mostly infer ior flat land, or good grazing country. Wither is situated about two miles frjfm Blenheim post office.
