DEFENCE CONFERENCE
WELLINGTON, JulyM. The conference of members of the headquarters and district staffs of the Defence Folrces has concluded. Sir Alexander Godley -stated that partial, lar attention*. was given to a discusion of Sir lan Hamilton's report. The question of having concentrations instead of drills for country units was gone into at length.. Particular attention was paid, to matters of reorganisation and ihe improvements suggested in the report.
