WEATHER FORECAST
SUMMARY.
The barometer has continued high in the north, though a fall was recorded last -night in the south. A storm' of considerable intensity was evidenced southward of the Dominion by the Macquarrie Island barometer falling an inch lower than that at the Bluff. Gloomy weather has prevailed and rain has fallen, in many parts with strong westexlyy winds.
FORECAST
Present indications aaree c for cloudy and unsettled weather, with rain probable generally, and strong westerly winds. The barometer is unsteady, and a temporary rise preceding a fur ther fall.
