POLLARD'S PICTURES.
"Marvellous," "Wonderful," <*A Great Production," "A Bealistic Triumph," were some of the comments made by the huge audience that streamed out r of the Opera, House last, night, after witnessing tb% greatest- of all war pictur.es, that has ever been seen here "The Battle of Gettysburg." We have had many war films, but nohting near the same class as this one. The detail is perfect, the .acting of the highest class and the fighting so realistic as to make the spectator shudder. The supporting programme, was wqrthy .of < b.eing on the same bill as the star. The same programme will be repeated tonight, and should not be missed as it is undoubtdely one of the best ever submitted to a local audience. To-morrow night an all new series will be presented the star feature of which will be a Gaumont emotional drama "The Vocation of Suzette," showing how a young lady was cured of her passion for the stage by a vision as vivid as reality. ■ .:..•■
