The bridegroom wore his uniform and was supported by Serg-eant-Major Le Motte (Greymouth). After the ceremony the bridal party motored to the Princess Theatre where ihe bride's mother received ( ioo guests at the wedding- breakfast. The Rev*. proposed the health of the' bride and bridegroom » which* was drank with musical honours the bridegroom proposed the health of the bridesmaid to which Sergeant - Major Le Mottc responded. Mt. Ferrens proposed tho '» health of the bride- ' and < bridegroom's - mother. .Mr. -T. T. Williams thanked them all for their k'nd wishes on behalf of his mother. Mr., S. Steadman responded' on behalf of his/ mother. The bride's,, .mother wore black merve /silk with black maltese lace trimming and black bonnet, the bridegroom's mother wore black costume, and black toque Mrs, T. Williams. s»ster-in-law tQ the bride grey costume, 1 " and hat to' match. ''Miss Steadman sister to the bridegroom^ naw costume, and wore large bla.ck beaver hat with red "berries. < The bridegroom received a silver entree dish from , his fellow boarders at Dawson's Hotel and ,a handsome 1 dinner cruet from non-Commissioned officers groups n 'and 11 a. The bride received many handsome and useful presents fr6m all parts of the Dominion. On leaving- the State School her fellow teachers presented her with a silver hot water iuff. The school children from her' class gave a silver leapbt and .a case containing pepper, salt, and mustard pot and a, jam spoon-; and from the Ladies Gui<ld ,a silver and glass fruit, digh^ and ft em the choir of which she was a member also Sunday School teacher a silver pslcc basket* The' brides travelling costume was a tangerine ' cloth with pretty toque of tangerine velvet, ' with a border of "black on the crown, and large tangerine lancer plume ,an<! wore handsome 'furs. Mr. and Mrs. M. Steadman left by the afternoon train for Greymouth en Toute for Dunedin, where the honeymoon will be spent, carrying- with them happy congratulations from a h«st 'of friend*;. In the evening Mrs. Wil'lanr; cjv t-rtained a larsye number at a. dance.
