Advices received from •' Aorari, Gilbert Islands, South Seas, announce that Archibald Everett, the virtual King- intends abandoning the rulership of the island owing 1 , he alleges; to his numerous native wives bankrupting him ' by demanding the newest English; gowns.
Mr.. Everet will return to America, Everett was at one time a wealthy American of eccentric habits. .By means of the phonograph he was adopted as successor to the kingship of Aorari.
