DEATiH FROM GAS POISONIiNG. , WELLINGTON, Aug. 25. ■* At = the inquest concerndng the deaths of Mairy Ann Norma-nl and ' Edward Marshall, whose bodies were found in a house in Walter street, it was. shown that death was caused by gas poisoning. They had apparently tried the tap of a; burner to see if the 'gas was on : , and found that it was not and had then! omitted to turn, off' the tap. iSubsequently they had placed <a shilling' in the slob of \& meter and produced' a supply of fumes which killed them.
