, The Alpine Hotel at Burnett's Face comprising 12 rooms, and contents, was ib'urnt to the ground last night. There is no clue as ito the origin of the fire. The insurances on the build ing (owned by Mrs. Ryan) are £300 in the Standard Office, and the stock furniture,, etfc., of James Learmont, "tiha licensee, are covered by £400 mi the Alliance.
