CONDOLENCE.

The Chairman moved that a letter of condolence be sent to Miss Owens on the death of her mother. Hon Mr Marshall seconded. Carried. The Chairman referred in feeling terms to "the loss ■ the district had sustained in the death of Mr E. I. Lora. He moved that a letter, of condolence be sent to Mrs Lord and family -in their sad bereavement. Mr Bignell seconded and the other members 'Spoke feelingly. The motion yas carried.
