The Federal 'Ministers oregaxd Dr Nicholson's statement that the AngloFrench Commission in the New Hebrides is a failure, as rather premature, They consider that it would not help matters at this. early stage of the new regime to view it with too critical eyes. Mr Batchelor says that Dr Nirhoison's complaints are within ; the knowledge of the High Commissioner of the Pacific and the Government is in communication with him and ,th p British authorities. Whatever ground there may be for the allegations is already the subject , of inquiry.
