Mrs McNamara »* '«» cess, on behalf of the Altar Society, received ihe guests, and needless to say used her best endeavours to make everyone spend a very enjoyable evening. The musical programme was in the capable hands of Mr T Phillips, when the following items were rendered—"Love's Old Sweet Song," Miss KQarroU;"Outontheßock?,*' Miss Wickes; "Old and N*-," Miss K Carroll; "The Fog Boil," Mr T Phillips j !«Bing me to Sleep," Miss Montgumeirie ; and a pianoforte solo by Miw L ftcGUlicuddy, played with her usual taste and ability brought the first part of the programme to a j close. Supper was then served under the able supervision of Mesdames McNamara, T Malloy and Nagle, after which dancing was commenced and indulged in until the approach of the small hours. During the evening the Rev Father Gallais in a short and appropriate speech, thanked Mrs Grange for be* untiring services in matters connected with the church, during the past 7 years, and wished her and Mr Grange and family, health and prosperity in their new sphere. The proceedings then terminated with the flinging of "Auld Lang Syne."
