Big River Mine Report

(Our Correspondent.) Started to work the winze from No 7 level on Monday, anl have sunk 7 feet on the reef, which is two feet six inches wide and showing gold very freely. The stone is the full length ,of winze, and the same size at both ends. Have stopped driving on new make of stone as it is withis six feet of the winze. The stone is two feet wide at the bottom of the drive anl is of very good quality. At the intermeliate level, the drive is being widened and timberel, preparatory to sinking winze. 30 tons of stone have been raised during the week.
