Wellington, Octobar 12. The House met at 2 30 p m. Hon Mr M'Kenzfe gave notice to Introdace the Reserves and Crown. Lands Disposal Enabling Bill. Mr Guinness g&ve notice to ask Government if they would effer a substantial reward foe the dlsoavery of the murderer cf Mr and Mrs Jones at Petone. Hon Mr Seddon said thit the Sinking BUI would not be ready unttl next day. He thought that one debate for the report of the Banking Committee and the bill would suffice, and he proposed to tate It to-morrow. It would eccupy nearly the whole of the sitting. He proposed to set apart Wednesday for the disposal of the remaining bills on the order paper, and he should also bring down the supplementary estimates on that day. The Appropriation Bill would be brought down on Thursday and southern members j would be able to get away from Wellington on Friday. The N&tlvs Land Laws Amendment BUI was under consideration In committee for nearly the whole of the afternoon. A very long dlscasuon arose on a new clause proposed by the Premier referring to the annniling of the title fcoKoparekora block, Hawka'a B*y. The clause was carried by 39 to 16, and Captain Russell then proposed an amendment to the effeot that this clause should apply to any block of native land held under a land transfer oertifioate.
The amendment was still under diecos' alon at the 6 30 p m adjournment.
