The first Irmiogs of the English team eloped for 416 runs. The other Bcorea are — M'Laren 228, Peel 48, Briges 0, Gay 17, Philllpson 4, Hntnphreys ], Richardson (not out) 0 M'Laren played a brilliant innings, bat was badly missed after ecoring 4. A Trott took 6 wickets for 103, 0 M'Leod two wickets for 49, H Trott two for 60. Victoria in their first innings have lost; seven wickets for 201 -Mitchell 25, Palmer 6, H Trott 17, Graham 29, Layer 41, Stuckey 0, C M'Leod (not out) 20, Harry (not oat) 35. (Received November 19, at 0 5 am) Melbourne. November 18. In the cricket match C M'Leod Is not out with 19, and R M'Leod is not out with 20. M*Laren batted for 4| houn and waa loudly applauded on hiß dismissal. The vj&itors iv their first innings developed an unmhtakeable tall. (Received November 19, ab 7 30 p m.) Melbourne, November 19. The weather was perfect to-day for the cricket match. Victoria continued their first innings, which closed for 307, leaving them 109 behind the Englishmen in their first essay. The additional scores areHarry 70, R M'Leod 36, A Trott 25, B'ackham (not out) 29 ; sundries 12 ; total 307. Brlgga took five wlcketa for 97, Peel 3 for 27, Richardson 1 for 92, Humphreys 1 for 71.
