A motion in the University Senate this afternoon by the Rev Mr Bo wen to raise marks for Greek in the Junior Scholarship Examination from 1000 to 1250 was loßt by 12 to 11. „,.«. March 5. Resolutions were carried expressive of deep sympathy with the Victorian and Taamanian Conference in the v heavy losses sustained last year by the death of the President Rigg and the Rev A. and Rev T. J. A. Crump, a candidate for the ministry, was examined by the Rev Mr Morley, and on the vote of the Conference waa accepted for training at the Thrae Ki> ga' College.
