BRUTAL ASSAULT ON A WOMAN.

1 December 3. Charles Anderson and Henry Cracknell were committed for trial for what was termed a brutal assault on Alice Le Dame. Some dispute occurred in her house regarding supplying them with drink, and they assaulted her, using the log of a chair and empty bottles.
