A TEMPERANCE DEMONSTRATION.
A temperance demonstration was held at the Exhibition to-day. A procession, consisting of the Band of Hope and Temperance Society, marched through the city to the Exhibition. The procession was a mile long. A half -holiday was proclaimed, and an immense concourse of people turned out to witness it.
