SAN FRANCISCO MAIL SERVICE.
Sydney. September 17. The New South Wales Government has at present under consideration two proposals for the San Francisco mail service — one emanating from the Government, the other from the Pacific Mail Steamship Company. The latter proposal is for the service independent of New Zealand control. A decision is expected shortly.
