It was insured in the Colonial Office for L3OO, and . the furniture, , of Iwliich. Lip worth was saved,- in tne same office "ior ! Ll3o. The building was a ye,ry, old one, , a portion of it having been built and occupied by. the late Mr Crosbie Ward, >yh'o,Vith his brother, Mr Hamilton Ward, resided there many years ago. , ■ . i . ' '
