A WICKED SHEPHERD.
Auckland, November 30. A charge of indecent assault on a boynamed William Chadwin, Maungaturoto, was preferred against Abram Ridings, late Congregational clergyman at Maungaturoto. He came up on remand yesterday. Superintendent Thompson said he had received a telegram from the district a forementioned stating that five distinct charges of a similar nature were laid against the prisoner. He was remanded till Tuesday, bail being enlarged.
