She has since arrived at her destination. Blair Athole, ship, London to Sydney,— The fore and maiatopmast heads were carried away in the Bay of Biscay, taking with them all the upp'T spars and gear, . Cavaliere S. Polimeni, Italian barque, Newcastle to Java, went ashore on Kangeang Island, on the coast of Java, in January last, and became a total wreck. No lives were lost. Celestial Queen, barque, Oamaru to London, put into Plymouth on January 13, leaky. Columbia, barque, Vancouver's Island to Melbourne, was taken aback by a squall on 23rd ultimo, and had her foresail, foretopsail, niizen Baysai), and several other sails split or blown away. Eliza Firth, brigantine, Greymouth to Melbourne, experienced very severe weather on the" voyage. On 21st ultimo the foreBtaysail was blown away in a gale, and the galley and other deck hamper washed overboard. The mainsail also was burst by the weight of a sea whioh came over into it. Henry A. Paul], schooner, Adelaide to Brisbane, put into Sydney on sth instant, in consequence of the Bevere illness of her master. Huguenot, ship, Huon Island to Falmoutb, got ashore near the entrance to that port on January 12. She was got afloat again vith the help of two tugs, and taften into harbor, having sustained do apparent damage. XeiJawarra. s.a, Rockhampton to Brisbane, got aeround in Keppel Bay on 27th ultimo, bat floated off the following tide without injury. Loch Sunart, ship. — This vessel ran on to Skullmaitin Reef, off Ballywater, Ireland, on January 11, and sustained such severe injuries that no hopes are entertained of getting her off. A diver that was sent down reports that about 50 feet of her keel is gone, and several of the plates much damaged. The passengers and crew were all landed safely, and the cargo was being discharged into lighters for transhipment.
