London, October 24. The Russian Press advocate indirect aid to the Ameer of Afghanistan. Calccttta, October 25. Affairs on the frontier continue much the same. The concentration of troops is proceeding in readiness for war, It is stated that the Ameer' 3 reply to the Sultan distinctly refuses to admit England's mission into Cabul, or have anything to do with the British Government. Friendly feeling by the frontier tribes generally is manifested. Much sickness prevails at Peshawur.
