London, October 24. The Prince of Wales, in receiving a deputation at the Colonial: Museum, said he was convinced that the scccess of the institution was undoubted. He assured the deputation of his warm interest in every proposal binding the Colonies to the Empire. The Prince announced the intention of Her Majesty to .confer the Companionship of St. Michael and St. George on the following gentlemen : — Messrs Pellitte and Keeper, Canada; Casey and Levey, Victoria ; Coombs and Cootby, Adelaide; Hodgson, Queensland.
