[PKESS AGENCY.] Bitjfjp, July 4. The Tararua, with the English mail, arrived off the Bluff on the 3rd, and came to the wharf at 8 a.m. on the 4fch. Left Melbourne at 3.30 p.m. on the 26th ult. Encountered strong easterly gales and tremendous head sea ; was hove to for 48--hours. She brings 24 saloon and 30 steerage passengers, and 200 tona of cargo . for all ports. . No later cable or Australian news than to hand by Hero. The Tararua sails for Dunedin at4p.m. •
