rriHAMES SHARE INVESTMENT COMPANY, In 10,000 Shares of 5s each. With a view to assisting the Funds of the DIGGERS' HOSPITAL at the Thames, it has been determined to submit to the public the subjoined LIST of MINING SHARES in some of the best Claims, on the Thames Gold Field, on which all calls up to date will be paid. Applications for tickets will be received in Auckland, by the Honorary Secretary, Mr William James Dalton, at his office, High street; by Messrs Daltqx and Holmes, Grahamstown, Thames ; and by Mr G. W. > Moss, Albert street, Greymouth. Letters from Southern Provinces and country districts containing applications for tickets must be accompanied by cheque or post office order for the amount, or, if money is enclosed, should be registered, and tickets will be forwarded by return post. Ten per cent, of the gross proceeds of the sale of tickets will be retained by the Hon. Treasurer, Mr Von Stunner, who has kindly consented to act iv that capacity, and will, be handed over to the Committee of the Thames Hospital on behalf of the funds of. that institution immediately after the drawing of the prizes, which will take place under the supervision of a committee to be ap-, pointed by the members subscribing, then present. A list of the successful numbers will be published. Messrs James Wrigley and W. Lloyd have consented to audit the accounts on behalf of the Hospital.
