AUCTIONEERS' BEPOETS.
Mb T. Preece reports sales at his Yards, Lichfield street, during last week as follows : Farming operations being now general the yards were not bo largely attended as usual. There was also a smaller supply of live stock, &c., but upon the whole former prices were maintained. , Cattle—3s head yarded, principally young Btock. Small calves. 5s to 10s each; do, three to six months old, 17s to 30s eaoh. Pigs—Suckers, 10s to 16s each; small porkers, 30a to 35s eaoh; small sows in pig, 52a to 57s 6d each. Poultry—A fair supply and good prices realised. There is a better inquiry for new and second hand spring carts. Sold last week at .£8 15s, £9, .£l4, and .£l9 10a.
Clifford and Co. report on their usual weekly sale of poultry, pigs, &c.:—Poultry fetched exceedingly good prices, as follows— Fowls, 3s to 4s 6d per pair; duoks of not best quality for table, 4s to 5s 6d per pair; geese and turkeys, none in market In pigs, about 40 yarded. Suckers, 9a to 12s each; weaners, 16s to 183. . At the indjor sale a quantity of goods changed hands at very satisfactory priceß.
