[BBUTBB’a TELKOEAMB.] Mbldouene, April 26. It is stated that Weiberg has been seen at Waratah Bay. A resident of the district informed the detectives that Weiberg had been seen by a mounted constable, but effected his escape. It is understood that the Cabinet have telegraphed to Mr Berry to obtain a definite proposal for the mail service from the Orient Company before returning. April 27. An attempt has been made to shoot Morick, who assisted in recovering the bodies of the policemen murdered by the Kelly gang. Three shots were fired and his horse wounded. Ho narrowly escaped.
