AUCKLAND WOOL SALE FIRST OF SEASON TO-MORROW CLIPS LIGHT AND SHORT 0 In spite of the broken weather and . labour difficulties Hie limit of 20;000 f bales fbr the first wool sale of the 153687 season, to be held afc» Auckland on Saturday, is’ estimated to be exceeded by about 2822 bales. In tbe last two days wool has been, arriving at the stores in larger quantities, •some consignments coming to band as late as yesterday. Preparations of the clips for the appraisement by buyers proceeded throughout tbe night.
The avool generally appears to- be somewhat finer than last year. There are not many super lines, the majority being good to super topmaking aa;oo1s Avith a; feAv good spinners. Tne wool is light in condition and as a rule 'not so well groivn as usual, most lines being shorter. Owing to the last minute rush several clips are being offered Avithout reclassing, Avlneli may affect the price.
