The Opotiki Boxing Association lias signed Watty Robertson, Gisborne, and Ern Jacobs, Wellington, as principals in a professional contest to bo fought at thj next tournament on September 23. The amateur preliminaries will be provided by G sboriie and Opotiki boys, in the majority of cases. A further engagement which Robertson has accepted witli satisfaction is a match with MudgAvay belore- the Taumanmui association, this light having been set doivn for October 3.
