A dispute over the possession oi a piece of land at Salnafata, fifteen miles east of Apia, to-day resulted in the death of loan?, aged 35, first cousin of the High Chief, laiuascso, and the arrest of another Samoan named Sin on a charge c>: murder. Shi is in hosp'ta]., with cuts on the head and hand. Ti is alleged • that loans attacked Sin with a shotgun and that Sin retaliated with a knife.
