It was designed by an Englishman, Colonel iEriei Sawyer, and an American, Mr. Barry Diercks. These two architect's, who themselves live near Cannes, have built a number of severely simple, flat-roo'cd houses on the coast. Their style has happily displaced the old fashion's of ornately plastered villas and sham mediaeval castles. The Chateau de FHorizon takes- its name from its -supbe.r view of Golfc Juan mid the open sea. In front ‘of house there is a swimming pool, and from the pool there is a- slide to the Mediterranean...
