Mr. Bearup, a member of tlie Australian Broadcasting Commission, following a. study of American cohclitions ,informed the Australian Associated ih-Sss that three aspects of I.roadeasting in the United States were particularly impressive, namely the unremitting effort to make educational programmes and even charitable appeals and entertainment a first care and the expense lavished on the aeousticaT facilities at , studios' and, finally, the /high" technical proficiency of broadcasting transmission. Following a fortnight’s stay in New York, Mr. Bearup will proceed to Europe to cpn'tinuo 7 Ijis iij)tjxjiries. -
