DEER: SHOOTING TRAGEDY. (Press Association). DUNEDIN, April 25. AYilh’am Kingsley AfcFarlnno, 28, farmer of Ciydevalo, died in Balcluiha Hospital early this morning. He was admitted suffering from a gunshot wound in the knee, received while deerstalking on the Blue ARiuntains on AA'cdncsday morning. Deceased went sh-ootirig with a brother who saw a- stag. Th c Pair separated and later, the brother fired, shooting deceased in the knee. Dr Radoliffe went out and discovered the injured man suffering severely from shock and loss of blood. He gradually sank in hospital and died. An inquest will be held
STRUCK BY CAR
BOY DIES FROM INJURIES (Press Association). DUNEDIN, April 24. R-onald Erridge, 13, who was critically injured on Saturday when he was knocked down by a motor oar driven by Edward Richard Quin, died in hospital at midnight. Quin is on remand upon a charge of being intoxicated while in charge of a car.
