UNSUSAL BED
SEA-LION SLEEPS ON FOOTPATH. (U.P.A, by Elec. Tel. Conyright) HOBART, April 24. A large sea-lion was 'found asleep on a footpath in New Norfolk, 22 miles from Hobart. Attempts were made to capture it, a rope being placed around its neck but it broke away and, clambering over a paling fence, escaped into the Derwent River. It was 9ft. long and very fat.
