SKIDDED ON BITUMEN. SMALL CAB OVERTURNS. (Press Association). LEVIN, April 24. A small car driven by Miss Halley, of Obakune, overturned while negotiating a bend at the railway crossing at Ohau yesterday afternoon. The driver received a. scalp wound, and was admitted to hospital. A passenger,-Miss Kennedy, of IT2 Armagh street, Christchurch, received slight concussion, but was able to proceed on her journey in another car. It appears that the car skidded on the wet bitumen and overturned. The body of the vehicle was a total wreck. Who pays the bill for the injured?
