I bra shi Pasha, King Fuad’s personal adviser and Director of the Royal Estates, resigned and left: the Court. His action followed representations by Premier Nissim and High Commissioner Lampson, which came as the climax to growing public clamour against Ibrnshi who, allegedly, wielded enormous influence in administrative affairs. He was accused of virtually arrogating Royal authority to himself and of issuing arbitrary instructions to Cabinet. The resignation has been received with immense relief and will leave the way open for Cabinet to reorgan we the reorganise the administration and curtail the activities of the V afd which is as nnti-monarehial and revolutionary as ever.
