The High Court to-day allowed the appeal of Gerald Griffin and quashed his conviction as a prohibited immigrant. The Commonwealth Government will pay costs. t Justice Sir George Rich declared that the Immigration Act was most confused on many important points, and well merited the attention of legislature.
