MRS. SKILLING TAKES LEGAL ACTION.
LOST NAVIGATOR'S TERMS OF ENGAGEMENT. (U.R.A.„by Elec. Tel. Copyright.) (Received April .8, 8.50 p-ni.) SYDNEY. April 8. Mr. Justice Nicholas, in the Probate Court, to-day granted leave to Mrs. Ellen Andrce Skilling, oi Auckland, to swear the death of Mr. Joseph Leonard Skilling, navigator and wireless operator with’ Mr. Ulm on his ill-fated tvans-Pacific flight in December. Mrs. Skilling's affidavit stated that Mr. Skilling was to receive £7 10s weekly until the completion of the flight, £250 in respect of his services, all living expenses, and £lO weekly for six weeks after the completion of the flight. Another clause in Mr. Skillings agreement released Mr. Ulm from all claims arising out of accident or death during the period of his employment.
