The master of the freighter Pensilva, at present in Sydney, is confronted with an apparently insoluble problem. On board his ship is a stowaway, who can land only at one port in tho world, namely', Gdynia, Poland, and tho iship is never likely' to call at that port. The stowaway is a Pole, Elias Wolsdorf, aged 24 years. He boarded the ship at Iluelva, Spain, four months ago. Since then, ho has been on the ship, Avorking Avhile at 'sea and locked up and guarded while in port, for if he escaped the master of the Pensilva would be liable to a heavy line. At every port, permission lias been sought for Wolsdorf to land, but all liaA-o been fruitless. Wolsdorf speaks seven languages.
