“COST PATROL” AND ‘CHEYENNE KID” M ATINEE AND NIGHT Two long features will be screened to-day at both matinee and evening sessions. A rare drama is being offered in ’“The Lost Patrol”. A British cavalry patrol Joses its officers through an Arab raid. His orders are unknown to any of the party, and after terrible suffering the half-starved urn® and horses reach an oasis. On their first night in camp the Arabs attack kill a sentry, and >stcal all tho mounts. Succeeding attacks follow. At last only the powerful sergeant remains. An, aeroplane reaches the scene, but the pilot is picked off' by Arab sniper, s. The iscrgeaut (Victor MeLaglen) manages to get the aeroplane’s machine-gun, and an unusual climax follows. The second feature will be “Cheyenne Kid” starring Tom Keene, ‘ ‘The Cheyenne Kid” ff rich in suspense and action. Keene, reckless danger-loving, cowboy, is mistaken tor a, hi liter. An unscrupulous gold assayer, threatening exposure, under which- Keene could not prove innocence. pressed him, unsuccessfully to murder vhijp sweetheart's father, who owns a gold mine. Tho father is shot by a desperado, but Keene iS suspected. -The -tenth chapter of “Danger Island” will also be screened.
