MAJESTIC THEATRE
PAR 1S INTERLUDE’ ’ AND “NIGHT ANGEL.”
One of ■ the strongest double feature programmes seen iu Gisborne for some time will be presented today at 2 p.m., 4.45 p.m. and 8 p.m. The care-free atmosphere of Bohemian Paris is vividly captured in “Paris Interlude” the Metro-Gohl-iwyn-Maver comedy drama, which heads the double bill. Itacy humor, jjiquant situations ,and dramatic interludes -are deftly blended in this production, which liars been directed with practised skill by Ed’‘/in L. Marin. Prom beginning to end there is an unusual twist in the denouement—the film grips the interest by virtue of- its unusual plot and the accomplished acting of the principals, Although there are such experienced players in the cast as Madge Evans and .Robert Young, acting honors definitely go to Otto Kruger, who appears as a famous foreign correspondent to a New York newspaper.
Tho second venture ‘Night Angel’ is a powerful story .of intrigue, roaueo and adventure. A strong cast is headed by Frederic March, Fancy Carrol and Alison Skipworth. Patirons aro advised to book eaifty at the llegout box office.
