OBITUARY

MISS B. A. HIGNETT. Miss Beatrice Adelaide Hignett, 17, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Hignett, of Auckland, who died suddenly in the Cook Hospital, was born iu the Gisborne district and commenced her schooling at Otoko. At the. age of eight she removed to Petone, where she attended the Petone West School. She continued her education at the Hutt Valley High School and about IS months ago she returned to this district. For some time she was working for Airs. Sheather, Tolaga. Bay, but Recently she had been staying with Mrs Adams of Queen street, Gisborne. Much sympathy will be extended to her relatives and friends in their sad loss. There remains.. to mourn their loss besides her parents, one sister, Joan, who is at present attending the Gisborne High School, and two brothers, Allan and Douglas Hignett, of Auckland. The funeral null leave Airs. Adams’ residence at 2 p.ni. to-dav for the Taruheru cemetery.
