CONTINUED IMPROVEMENT. NINE MONTHS' FAVORABLE BALANCE OR £12.561,000. (Press Association) WELLINGTON, Oct. 19 Oversea trade figures of New Zealand for September, 1936, show that exports were valued at £'2,373,051, and -imports at £2,662,219. For the corresponding period of last year ri>o figures were £1,512,796 and £2,155,530 respectively. For the nine months ended September. 1933, exports were valued at £31,833,793, and imports at £15,724.264, and the balance, in terms of New Zealand currency, excluding specie, was £12.551,000. The figures for tho same period of 1932 were £28,686.652, £37.065.699. and £9.092.000. For the nine months ended 1933, tho values were £27,209.324, £19.098.929, and £6,826.000 rospestivoly. The values recorded for expoits are •lie declared f.-n.b. values in terms t!l New Zealand currency, while the values recorded for imports are tno current domestic- values in the countries of export, plus 3 0 per cent.
