Willis, the former AgentGeneral, now the miners’ candidate, in a typical coalmining constituency having come into conflict with the* Lang forces, Is hailed by Mr Lang as a top-hatted gentleman fresh from (he halls of Westminster. Tito press is unanimous in saying that a challenge to Lnngism has corao sooner than hadl been expected, and Mr Lang is making the Bull! campaign a fight for fills own political existence. He will spend the best part of next week in I hat electorate on behalf of Mr Siwgcney, the candidate selected to carry the inner Labor group’s banner.
However, it is announced lhat Air Willis commands the entire following of the Miners’ Federation, andl is regarded as certain to win the sent.
