Kershaw, K Newcastle: Morgan, Whitelnw, Tlenwood, F'orresler, Taylor, Coolhan, Wilkinson, Cameron, Quill, Hughes, Bray. Tire local players were a much bett,or team and in the first half play'd with more cohesion, except when approach inc the interval when the visitors rallied brfghtly. The half-time score was: Newcastle 3 to 0. Tn the second half the visitors created a better impression with neat footwork and splendid combination, tmt. found the defenco too solid. The opposing forwards were decidedly nippy •
Tbs New Zeal antlers’ best man was Zuill, whose -frequent saves and brilliant and reliable network were applauded. The scorers for Newcastle were Hughes (3), Quill (3), and for New Zealand, Kershaw.
